The space
At THE HANGAR, guests have access to the entire home during their stay. The main bedroom boasts a luxurious king size bed and the second bedroom provides guests with two queen size beds and a designated workspace. A queen size Murphey bed in the living room is also available for guests.
The spacious living room is ideal for guests to come together to spend quality time with one another and create lifelong memories around the indoor fireplace.
Guests will find a modern and spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances, electric stove, peninsula seating, a dining room, & high-speed Wi-Fi. A private outdoor space is also available at THE HANGAR with a Firepit & Hot-tub.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen has a stainless-steel stove, refrigerator, and peninsula seating.
It also has a toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker along with general small kitchen appliances.
You will find the basic cooking essentials in the cabinets including salt & pepper, olive oil, dishes, and silverware.
Long term stays are expected to purchase their own supplies if they run out.
BBQ GRILLS:
A charcoal grill is on the property available for guest use. It is located in the private backyard outdoor area.
RESTROOMS:
The restroom will have toiletries including body soap, shampoo, & conditioner, and hair dryer.
PETS:
The Mayberry Hideaway is pet friendly. We welcome you and your pets. Please make sure you add your pet to your reservation as a pet fee will be added for each pet. This will allow our team to be better prepared for your stay.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The Hangar resides on a 2-acre property and there are 3 other homes on the property.
SECURITY:
For the comfort and safety of our guests, the Mayberry Hideaway has cameras along the permitter. The 2-acres property is also completely fenced in. The fully fenced spacious backyard is perfect for pets and children.
PRIVATE OUTDOOR SPACE:
Outside THE HANGAR you'll find your own private retreat, where you can fire up the grill for a delightful outdoor dining experience. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit and enjoy the warmth of a crackling fire under a starlit sky, creating memories to last a lifetime. Enjoy the hot tub in the private outdoor area as well.
*** COMMUNAL AMENITIES***
There are 4 homes at The Mayberry Hideaway: The Studio, The Tiny Cajita, The Dome, and The Hangar. Each home has its own private outdoor space, but we also have a communal space for all guests. This communal space includes: a pickle-ball/basketball court, a beach volleyball court, several picnic tables, a large fire-pit, grill & grilling space, and a large temperature-controlled swimming pool. The communal space may be accessible to specified groups of people for small increments of time during your stay, but your party will always have access to the communal spaces.

You can book all 4 homes on The Mayberry Hideaway combined property listing. This does not however provide exclusive access to the communal areas as that space can be reserved for specified groups of people for small increments of time during your stay.

Because The Mayberry Hideaway is home to 4 different houses it is likely that 4 different group guests will be on the property on any given day. For this reason, guests may not invite visitors (anyone who is not on the reservation) to join them during their stay. --> If you would like to reserve The Warehouse (a private meeting room) to welcome additional guests for a specified time, please contact us for further details.
